Week Two in our 'Journey' series follows the life of Paul, as he searches for a devout relationship with God, only to discover that it can only be achieved in Jesus.
Today, most people's experience of coming to know Christ happens over time. Over four messages, we're going to explore four conversions from the Bible that help us discover the greatest destination of every journey, and the significant milestones along the way.
Week One: Looking For Love (Read through John 4 in preparation)
Key Text: John 21:15-17
As Easter comes and goes, join us as we explore the hope that comes from a restored relationship with Jesus, and the joy of belonging to Christ's family.
On the day we stop and recall the darkest, yet most glorious day in history, join us as we remember what was so 'good' about Good Friday.
Key Text: Hebrews 1:1—2:4
I remember fishing with a friend all night. We had anchored over our favourite fishing spot just as it was getting dark, with the lights of land just flickering on the horizon. We woke in the morning to an endless horizon, unbroken by land. Our anchor had lifted. We were drifting. We had not noticed.
Drifting at sea has immediate dangers, but drifting from the gospel has eternal ones.
Join us this week as we explore the opening chapters of Hebrews and discover the truth that will anchor your soul, and help you to resist drifting from the gospel.
This is our final week in our series, 'The Portrait Of A Disciple'. In it, we address the issue of despair, and how we respond to the challenges of following Jesus in a world that has largely rejected him.
Following Jesus isn’t always easy, in fact it seldom is, even Jesus’ own teaching can seem hard. The internal pressures of being a disciple can only be faced as we look beyond the ‘now’ and see the end result of what Jesus is accomplishing.
Join us as we move toward the close of our preaching series, 'The Portrait of a Disciple'.
Key Text: John 20:19-21
"A servant is not greater than his Master". That means we'll live the same way he did—as witnesses to the way, proclaimers of the truth, and examples of the life.
Join us for the next part of our 'Portrait of a Disciple' series
Key Text: John 13:1-17
To follow Christ is to follow his example (and attitude) of humble servant-hood.
Join us this week as we explore the surprising reality of the significance of servanthood.
