PRAYER
“True prayer is measured by weight, not by length. A single groan before God may have more fullness of prayer in it than a fine oration of great length.”
Prayer
We value the position of prayer being an expression of children being in constant conversation with their Father. As we pray, we express a tangible demonstration of our physical and spiritual need of God to intervene in our lives. This will be practised by both individuals and the corporate body, with focus given to adoration and intercession.
Dedicated times of corporate prayer are held just prior to our Sunday morning gathering, with additional times for prayer regularly given during our corporate worship times. We also run a 'prayer chain' ministry to quickly rouse the church to prayer in times of crisis or emergency. In addition, our small groups have dedicated times for individuals to join with each other for prayer and encouragement.
